Minnie Louise Roberts was born in Lumberton, NC on May 22, 1967 to James Thomas Roberts and the late Patricia Ann Mitchell.  She entered eternal rest , surrounded with loving family on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

  Minnie ,also Known as Sonny to  loved ones and friends, was a loving mother, wife and grandmother.  Although she was a homebody  who stayed to herself she had a personality that drew people to  her and  grew to know many loved ones during her life.

Sonny had a love for learning new things and was  a graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College with a diploma in Industrial Mechanics. She spent most of her years employed in retail and customer service positions where she  was able to help  others and make new friends.

Before falling ill Sonny spent many of her last days enjoying time at the beach, eating at her favorite restaurants, and quality time with her children and grandchildren.  Although she is no longer with us here on earth, she will never be forgotten  in our hearts. We love you …. Sonny .. Minnie...Boo Boo…

Left to cherish everlasting memories of her love and affection is her loving and devoted children;  Nacy Roberts, of Lake Alfred, FL Jamie Roberts  of  Wilmington, NC (Late son) Myles Mckinney and Jasira McKinney  of Charlotte, NC. Her father James Thomas Roberts of Hope Mills Nc her loving grand children Ceicy, Zirhe, M’pris  and Kentley, two brothers James Robert ( Mamie) of Lakeland, FL ,  Leroy Coe (Shamyra) of Texas three sisters Dianne Moffatt (Abraham) of Lakeland, FL,  Zina Perry (Theron) of Winter Haven, FL, and Janie Turner  ( Alford ) of Aurburndale, FL , and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces  and nephews.
